Serious output from a single AA battery! The new ThruNite Neutron series flashlights are incredible. Unlike many LED flashlights that have "pencil-like" beams, the Neutron series have more uniform beams that provide that "wall of light" effect. And a wall of light is what they provide... very bright! Much more useful overall, and very addictive! They also have several brightness modes, to tailor the light to your needs. The Super-Low mode is incredibly low, perfect for navigating the house at night or reading in bed.
Operation:
Click the rear tail switch to turn the light on. When the head is snug, the light is in the Max brightness mode. A half press of the switch will toggle to Strobe mode. Half press again to return to Max. The light always reverts back to Max mode when the light is turned off (when the head is snug).
Slightly loosen the head for the aux modes... Super-Low, Low, Medium, High, and SOS. To cycle between these modes, just half press the switch repeatedly until you reach your desired mode. The current mode will be memorized after the light is turned off.
