Latest version, fits DBS-T and CL1H-T models, as well as DBS V3 models / CL1H V4 models.  Utilizes same lens as before, but the housing's "neck" has been modified to allow use on the "T" models.

Aspherical Head replaces the normal head and reflector on your DBS-T or DBS V3, and CL1H V4.  Solid glass aspherical lens concentrates the beam into a very tight column (almost zero spill beam), giving super-long throw.  

The beam isn't for "white wall hunters", as it has some colorful rings around the hotspot, and the beam is a square shape.   But talk about throw!  This thing generates 90,000 lux at one meter, well over twice the lux of the normal DBS head!  In real world use, the throw increase appears to be about 50% over the DBS head due to the way our eyes perceive brightness.  If used on a CL1H V4, it's over six times the throw compared to the normal head! 

To use, simply remove the head & neck assembly from your DBS or CL1H.  Remove your existing pill.  Disassemble the aspherical head and remove the pill holder using the two small holes to unscrew it from the head (comes out on the top side).  Install your existing pill into the pill holder, and screw the pill holder back into the aspherical head.  Install the asperhical head/pill assembly (with spring inserted into bottom) onto your DBS or CL1H body and tighten securely.  

The head can be focused for each particular distance you plan to use it.  To focus, hold the knurled portion of the aspherical head with one hand, and screw the bezel in and out to suit (you're changing the distance between the lens and the LED).  The highest throw is obtained when the beam is focused to a square shape.
