Can use a single CR123a or RCR123; or with the optional AA extension tube, a single AA or 14500 battery!

Comes standard with an orange peel (OP) reflector installed, which will provide about 7,000 lux with a CR123a or RCR123 battery (or 14500 with optional extension tube).  With the optional extension tube and AA NiMH battery, you'll get about 3,500 lux.

With the optional smooth (SMO) reflector installed, the Shorty will provide about 10,000 lux with a CR123a or RCR123 battery (or 14500 with optional extension tube)... incredible!  With the optional extension tube and AA NiMH battery, you'll get about 5,000 lux... amazing for a single AA!
