New from Dereelight, the Night Master V2 Aspherical flashlight!  Features the same Cree EZ900 LED as their previous aspherical flashlight for a searing 90,000+ lux!  

1.5 amp LED drive current ensures tons of output from the EZ900 LED 

Accepts 2 x CR123a 3.0 volt or 2 x RCR123 3.7 volt batteries.  Can also use 3 x CR123a or 2 x 18500 batteries with optional CR123/18500 extension tube, or 2 x 18650 batteries with optional 18650 extension tube.  Extension tube only increases runtime, not brightness.

Follows Dereelight's "Twist" style of accessing the various output modes.  Provides dedicated High mode operation as well as a sub-group of three output level when desired.  If the head is snug, the light stays in the High mode.  Loosen the head about a 1/4 turn and the light will behave like a typical three output flashlight (High/Medium/Low).  In this group, just repeatedly half-press the rear switch (from the OFF position) to cycle through the levels.  Mode memory remembers the last level used, the light will turn back on in that mode for the next time.

Rear tactical switch offers momentary operation (soft press and hold switch for momentary operation, or fully click on for constant operation). 

The beam isn't for "white wall hunters", as it has some colorful rings around the hotspot, and the beam is a square shape.   But talk about throw!  This thing generates 90,000+ lux at one meter,  three or four times the lux of a typical "thrower" style flashlight! 

The head can be focused for each particular distance you plan to use it.  To focus, hold the knurled portion of the aspherical head with one hand, and screw the bezel in and out to suit (you're changing the distance between the lens and the LED).  The highest throw is obtained when the beam is focused to a well-defined square shape at distance.  You may even be able to see the individual segments (lines) of the LED's surface in the beam.
