The ThruNite Catapult is one massive flashlight!  Everything about this flashlight screams "tough".  Constructed of thick-walled 7075 aluminum (the stuff that airliner landing gears are made of!) and featuring the new SST-50 large die LED, this flashlight is a beast! 

Most of the monster-class lights are geared more towards a floody beam... achieving high lux numbers (throw) from these flashlights has been a challenge.  ThruNite has shattered this notion, and the Catapult is one of the first to achieve very long throw, yet still have a very wide and bright spill beam!

The Catapult has four output levels:  High, Medium, Low, and Strobe.   To cycle through the modes, just quickly half-press the tail switch from the off position.  Being a maximum output light, there is no memory mode... it always comes on in high, ready for action!  Of course you can always quickly select any of the other modes at startup by half-pressing the switch as mentioned above.

Uses either 1 x 18650 protected Li-Ion or 2 x 18650 protected Li-Ion batteries. 

Comes with battery extension tube to allow use of 2 x 18650 batteries.

Requires button-top style batteries (on the positive end of the battery).  Flat-top batteries will not properly contact each other in a "stacked" configuration.

Do Not Use CR123 or RCR123 batteries.  Due to the flashlight's high current draw, these batteries will be subjected to over-current which may pose a fire or explosion risk.
